Downunder Tradies is not responsible for any ECS Health & Safety Assessment failures.
A full refund is NOT due if the Candidate:
A rescheduling fee of £20.00 will apply to all Candidates who wish to change the date of their ECS Health & Safety Assessment. The fee of £20.00 will apply each time an ECS Health & Safety Assessment is rescheduled.
A minimum of 24 hours notice must be provided to Downunder Tradies by the Candidate when rescheduling any ECS Health & Safety Assessment. Failure to do so will result in the Candidate being liable for the full Assessment cost of £50.00. Booking dates/times for any rescheduled Assessments are subject to availability.
When rescheduling any ECS Health & Safety Assessment, the Candidate is liable to pay the difference in cost (if applicable).
Candidates who reschedule or cancel their ECS Health & Safety Assessment due to illness must have a Doctor’s Certificate that covers the candidate for the actual date of the Assessment.
No discounts or special rates are available to Candidates who have already booked one ECS Health & Safety Assessment (or alternative Test/Exam with Downunder Tradies) and would like to book again or to organise a re-sit. Should the Candidate wish to rebook an ECS Health & Safety Assessment a cost of £50.00 will apply.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your ECS Health & Safety Assessment.
The Candidate must bring one form of ID in good condition.
Acceptable Forms of Photo ID
Downunder Tradies reserves the right to withhold the results from the Candidate if they fail to bring sufficient ID or if the ID that is provided is of poor quality. In this instance Downunder Tradies would hand over the Candidate’s results when sufficient ID has been provided.
All Candidates sitting the ECS Health & Safety Assessment must provide a National Insurance (NI) Number for their results to be submitted to the Joint Industry Board (JIB). Candidate’s who do not have a NI Number can still sit the ECS Health & Safety Assessment, however their results will be held by Downunder Tradies until a NI Number has been received. Once Downunder Tradies have been advised of the Candidate’s NI Number, their results will then be submitted to the JIB.
Downunder Tradies are not responsible if the Candidate is unable to sit or complete the ECS Health & Safety Assessment due to technical difficulties. In the rare occasion that this does occur we would endeavour to reschedule the ECS Health & Safety Assessment at the Candidates convenience.
In an extreme or unforeseen situation we hold the right to cancel an ECS Health & Safety Assessment at any time without providing advance notice to the Candidate. In the rare occasion that this does occur we would endeavour to contact the Candidate as soon as possible and to reschedule the ECS Health & Safety Assessment at the Candidates convenience.
The ECS Health & Safety Assessment cost of £50.00 does not include an ECS/JIB Card or the application process to obtain one. JIB Card Application Forms are available on request when the Candidate takes the ECS Health & Safety Assessment.
When booking your ECS Health & Safety Assessment it is presumed that you will prepare or have already prepared before arriving at the Downunder Tradies Test Centre.
Downunder Tradies will provide the candidate with the ECS Health & Safety Assessment Booklet to prepare. This will be sent to the address that is provided when the ECS Health & Safety Assessment is booked.

The JIB recommend at least 10 days revision time before you sit the Assessment.
It is the Candidate‘s responsibility to allocate a sufficient amount of time to review relevant study aid/s when preparing the ECS Health & Safety Assessment.
Downunder Tradies works with Essex Services Group to provide the ECS Health & Safety Assessment.

Directions from the tube station
Exit the station and you will see the Boundary House building across the road and to your left. Cross at the lights directly out the front of the station, and follow the path down to Cawdor Crescent. The main entrance and reception is at the back of the building.
By car
From Boston Manor Road, turn into Cawdor Crescent and turn right into the Boundary House Business Centre car park. There is limited parking available on site. If you are planning on driving to the Downunder Tradies Test Centre please contact the office directly to obtain a list of free parking locations nearby.
