The Candidate must complete both the Written Assessment 2391-301 and Practical Assessment 2391-302) to gain the qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) (2391-10).
This qualification is intended for experienced personnel working in the electrical industry. Although City & Guilds does not state formal candidate entry requirements, the qualification is not intended for non-qualified electricians and/or those who do not have experience in inspecting, testing and certifying electrical installations.
Candidates without this experience should seriously consider undertaking the City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in fundamental inspection, testing and initial verification (2392-10) as well as obtaining industry experience. It is also strongly recommended that candidates have achieved either the City & Guilds Certificate in the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671 January 2008) (2382) or similar qualifications where Candidates have demonstrated knowledge and understating of the 17th Edition.

National Academic Recognition Centre (UK NARIC) Statement of Comparability
Downunder Tradies Group takes no responsibility for any failed Statement of Comparability applications due to candidates holding insufficient qualifications and therefore being unable to provide the appropriate documentation i.e. not providing an appropriate Trade Qualification; not providing the required qualification transcripts and certificates. In the event that your application cannot be processed no refund will be due.
1st Contact Kickstart Package
To access all of the components of the 1st Contact Kickstart Package you must be legally eligible to enter and work in the UK. There must be at least 6 months remaining on the Visa for banking purposes.
1st Contact Kickstart Package works in partnership with a number high street banks and is bound by their compliance requirements. Periodically Banks review their account opening procedures and they can sometimes be subject to change. You must adhere to the requirements of the bank at all times. The bank will have absolute discretion to approve or reject an application for a UK bank account.
The various bank accounts available in the 1st Contact Kickstart Package have different fee structures and have separate Terms and Conditions. The various bank accounts may also have different documentation and opening requirements. 1st Contact will take reasonable steps to ensure you access your preferred bank account; however 1st Contact reserve the right to book clients into an appointment with any of their banking partners.
For identification and verification reason you will be required to meet with the banks to set up you personal bank account. The bank branches are all located in the central London area (City of Westminster/City of London).
The UK mobile phone SIM card number allocated as part of the 1st Contact Kickstart Package is only held for a 30 days after your advised UK arrival date. After that time 1st Contact reserves the right to reallocate the number to another customer.
All suppliers associated with the 1st Contact Kickstart Package are subject to change. 1st Contact will attempt to notify clients of any relevant changes. However, all clients are encouraged to visit www.1stcontactkickstart.com/news.aspx, prior to departing their home country or before visiting the London office to ensure that the most accurate information is known.
National Insurance (NI) Number/ Unique Tax Reference (UTR)
You must have an appropriate Visa (e.g. Youth Mobility Scheme or UK Ancestry Visa) as well as a UK Address to receive a NI Number.
Downunder Tradies Group and 1st Contact take no responsibility for any delay caused by HM Revenue & Customs in processing NI Numbers and UTR’s. In the event that you are not issued with or there is a delay in receiving a NI Number or UTR no refund will be due.
Tools
Downunder Tradies Group takes no responsibility for any issues or problems arising from tools purchased from the referred tool shop. Any issues regarding tool purchases are to be dealt with directly by the tool company with the Purchaser.
Accommodation
Accommodation options provided by Downunder Tradies Group and 1st Contact are suggestions only. Downunder Tradies Group and 1st Contact take no responsibility regarding problems and issues arising from accommodation bookings. Any issues are to be dealt with directly by the accommodation company with the Purchaser.
Oyster Card
All Oyster cards are issued with £10.00 credit only. This amount is provided to assist you in taking public transport upon your arrival. Any further credits are the responsibility of the Purchaser of the UK Start Up Pack. Once in possession of an Oyster Card the Purchaser is responsible for its safety and ensuring sufficient credit is placed on it. If the Purchaser returns the Oyster Card to Transport for London at the end of their time in the UK, they may claim the £3.00 card deposit refund.
Mobile and Internet
Downunder Tradies Group offers mobile and internet deals on behalf of external companies. Selecting and purchasing any of the products or services offered by these companies is at the discretion of the Purchaser. Entering into a contract with a company is solely the responsibility of the Purchaser. Any problems or issues arising from the purchasing of a product or service from these offers are to be dealt with directly by external company with the Purchaser.

Refunds for UK Start Up Packs
Downunder Tradies Group endeavours to provide the Purchaser with all the services listed within the UK Start Up Packs. If for any reasons other than those stated above, Downunder Tradies Group cannot provide these services, Downunder Tradies Group will not be responsible, however we will endeavour to offer compensation in this instance.
Value Added Tax (VAT) is applicable to items purchased in the Shop by customers located in the UK only.
VAT is not included in the prices displayed on the website. It is added during the Check Out process - the customer will be able to view to total VAT amount for all of the items purchased before finalising their payment for the items.
If replacement Merchandise, High Vis Vest or Dunlop Volleys are required in a different size/colour, the Purchaser is liable for the cost of postage to Downunder Tradies Group as well as the cost of posting the replacement merchandise item.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING POSTAGE OF DUNLOP VOLLEYS. Customers whose Dunlop Volley orders are placed before the next shipment arrives will have their package sent as per their postage request once Downunder Tradies Group had received the shipment. For example - if a customer requests Next Day Delivery, the order will be processed on the day that the shipment arrives.
Tools
If any errors found in our Tool prices and descriptions at the time of ordering, the customer will be informed and we are entitled to offer you the option of cancelling your order or re-confirming your order with revised price or product.
You may cancel your Tool order by giving us notice of cancellation within 7 days of the date of delivery to you or collection from the Downunder Tradies Group offices - provided that the Tools are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition. Such notice may only be given by email (info@downundertradies.com). If you are cancelling because of any problem with the Tools, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the Tools to us.
If Tools are not returned by you, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of recovering the goods from any refund due to you.
If you return any Tools to us, in a used condition (except where you allege the Tool is faulty) and/or without all the original packaging and any relevant instruction manual or documents, we shall not be able to sell the returned Tool as new and therefore you agree that in such circumstances where we agree to make a refund of the price paid to you, we shall have a right to deduct from any such refund the net loss of profit we shall suffer as a direct consequence. However the amount we shall deduct shall never exceed 15% of the amount paid by you for that Tool
Faulty or incorrect item(s) dispatched to you must be returned back to us in an original condition where the cost of return will be made by us, but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier.
For United Kingdom buyers, all Tool orders placed before 1pm will be delivered the NEXT WORKING DAY, where a valid signature will be required on delivery. This delivery time can only be fulfilled subject to stock availability. If delivery is likely to take longer time than a member of Downunder Tadies Group will contact you for estimated schedule.
We will try to deliver your goods as soon as feasible. You should inform us as soon as possible if you do not receive your goods within seven working days of placing your order or an estimated delivery date that we give you. Please note that any dates quoted by us for delivery are estimates only. If we are unable to deliver your goods within 30 days of your order, you may cancel your order and get a full refund for those goods.
There must be someone available to sign for the Tools. If someone is not available to sign for them uopn delivery, the Tools will be redelivered by courier at a later date and for an additional cost to the customer.
In the case of special circumstances, where there is a dispute between courier company and customer. i.e. a signature is obtained by courier, but customer claiming of no delivery, an investigation will take place. (At the time of delivery, please cross check items in the parcel with the enclosed delivery note. You will not be able to claim for any missing items if you fail to put appropriate remarks in the shipment company’s “Customer Signature Voucher” at the time of accepting the goods). All disputes will be resolved by us at the end of investigation, which may take up to 30 days.
We will not be liable for any delay in delivering the Tools which is due to events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for any business losses.
Where the law requires a minimum age limit for the purchase of specific item(s), you confirm that you are over the required age limit and that delivery will be accepted by a person over the required age limit.
All Tools are covered by manufacturer's guarantees, unless otherwise stated.
The Electrical Tool Kit - supplied by Edmundson Electrical Ltd will be shipped to the address provided at the time of booking via TNT couriers. This is managed by Edmundson Electrical Ltd and is included in the cost (i.e. There is no additional cost for this service). Downunder Tradies Group takes no responsibility for any delay in receiving orders caused by external institutions or companies. Outside of the cooling off period for customers located in the European Union (see ’Refunds’ section below), no refunds are available unless applicable in the situations previously stated.
