We are an Australian formed company recruiting high quality tradespeople from the Downunder Countries – Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
We provide work opportunities on our job sites located in the United Kingdom.
Our company is unique in that we encourage our tradespeople to spend time on their working holiday travelling to Europe and other countries, with the benefit of returning to Downunder Tradies Group to resume work at the same or a new job placement.
The mission of Downunder Tradies Group is to raise the experience and training levels of tradespeople by becoming the first Australian company to train and send quality tradespeople from the ‘downunder countries’ to live and work in the UK for a set period of time. At the same time, it will offer an opportunity for British trades to train and travel to the ‘downunder countries’ for working holiday opportunities as well as those who are emigrating.
Through the above mentioned methods we will provide a range of construction placements for Electricians, Plumbers, Carpenters and other construction trades. Downunder Tradies has enjoyed growth in the UK industry and we are looking to give back by developing Electro Training UK. We will be a leader in training to ensure that the UK industry stays firmly in the hands of quality young British tradespeople.
By giving tradespeople the opportunity to use their trade to travel we are providing them with an experience which will see them develop as workers, and at the same time allow them to grow as individuals through the unique experience that travel brings. By providing UK construction companies with a broader range of quality, trained tradespeople, we are allowing them to meet the high demand and quality of work that is needed.

“From setting up a bank account, to relevant certifications, and placing me in work, Downunder Tradies took care of it all. The thing I found most welcoming was the flexibility Stephen and Josh offer when taking those once in a life time trips into Europe, this was never a problem!”
